Alberta’s police watchdog is investigating the loss of life of man in southwest Edmonton in late September.
On Sept. 20 at roughly 12:44 a.m., police responded to a criticism involving a male suspect on Shaske Crescent in southwest Edmonton.
The 46-year-old male was reported appearing “erratically and doable impaired,” and was mentioned to be swinging an ice chipper at passing automobiles.
Officers approached the person upon arrival and verbally commanded the person to put down his weapon, and he complied.
The person was positioned in handcuffs whereas on the bottom, throughout which he went into medical misery.
Police mentioned they known as EMS and instantly started CPR, upon arrival paramedics handled and transported the person to hospital.
